Would flax seed oil or fish oil be a better blood thinner?

Would flax seed oil or fish oil be a better blood thinner?

Comparable effects: Both fish oil and flax oil contain omega 3 fatty acids which are known to significantly thin the blood. With both the effects are dose-related; higher amounts thin the blood more. I do not know of any studies comparing their effects on thinning blood but would expect they would be fairly comparable. Baby oil is purified mineral oil?

Can it be used as a laxative?

Not a great idea: at 16 years of age you should not be using laxatives at all without a physician supervision. I doubt that your physician would advise the use of any oil based laxatives. I think you would do well with 8-10 glasses of water daily, bran, cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables. ...Read more

Miralax (polyethylene glycol) ; Fish Oil: There is no reason that you cannot use MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) and take fish oil ;/or flex seed oil capsules. I would recommend that you do not take them at the same time of day. One could affect the absorption of the other. Is it safe to take a multivitamin, probiotic, fish oil omega-3 supplement, apple cider vinegar, and psyllium husk for fiber together daily?

Yes: These are safe though I wouldn't take them all at once. I advise the multivitamin after breakfast, the probiotic at the start of a meal, the fish oil after lunch or dinner, apple cider vinegar in water separate from meals and the psyllium at bedtime.
