Go to ER: Not sure why you think you have a urinary tract infection, but if you are having right sided pain like that, you may also have either a kidney stone or the UTI involves the kidney (pyelonephritis). Given you symptoms, it would be best for you to be seen in the ER for tests, you may need to be admitted for pain control or iv antibiotics. ...Read more

Low risk: It does seem to be excessive the risks should be counted through out your lifetime. If you didn't have any other studies requiring X-ray radiation you'd be fine. But this seems really excessive when ultrasound or MRI can be used to get more information. Try suggesting these non ionizing radiation studies ...Read more

Could be disc/nerve.: This can be unrelatred to your ana, etc. It sounds like a compressed/pinched nerve due to a herniated disc, etc. You might need an MRI of your spinal column, and/or other tests in order to confirm it, and even then it might be very slight, but enough to cause your symptoms.
