Fish Taste In Mouth
After I eat I have a funny taste in my mouth. Tonite I ate fish and every time I burp I can still taste the fish. Could I be pregnant?
Only if you had sex: During your fertile time with a fertile man and used inadequate or no protection. It would have nothing to do with the fish and burping (with or without a fishy taste) is not a primary sign of pregnancy. If you've missed a period, have a pregnancy test. Use protection for any sexual activity if you do not want to get pregnant. Best! ...Read more

You need to see: Your doctor to send you to the proper channel. The fact that you have a black stool, mean there is blood above the large intestine, but the fact that you burp it could be from the stomach or upper small intestine, and the fact that you see in in your phlegm means it could even be higher. So see your doctor first for initial work up and then to the proper specialist. ...Read more

Help, son 15 months old, opened whole fish oil 1000mg, wheat germ 100 mg per caps, 2 caps and ingested, mouth smells fish, don't think mercury free?
Child should be ok: Fish oil caps are intended for maintenance use and if mercury content was high, it would not be safe for adults either. About 6 oz of wild salmon will provide about 2000 mg of DHA, and it is thought that infants over 6 months can have up to 3 oz a week, so avoid further fish in your infants diet for the next few weeks to be sure. ...Read more

Tough to Tell: It's difficult to know if you reacted to the trout, a spice/seasoning used, or perhaps a side dish. You need to have this tested by a doctor. If you're allergic/sensitive to trout, that doesn't necessarily mean you can't eat any fish. In particular, shellfish may be different for you than regular fish. In either case, you can't know without medical testing. An allergy can be deadly, so get tested. ...Read more

Hello.: Hello. If your ears are clogged, it could be due to congestion. Congestion could create pressure on the eustacian tubes which normally can allow for pressure to equalize (or fluid to drain) as they connect the inside of the ear to the throat. You can try an oral decongestant or a nasal spray like afrin to help open up the area. If you use afrin, don't use any more often that twice a day for up to 3 to 5 days at the very longest. Hope your ears feel more comfortable soon. ...Read more

If tiny fish borne got stuck in upper side of tongue (apex or tip, not root) would it move to the vein after time flows. Is there vein or other vessel?
Tongue: Ouch! That sounds painful! Your body does not like having foreign objects especially fish bones stuck inside it. As a result over time it will actually try to get rid of it on its own using the easiest pathway, usually the point of insertion. I don't feel ther is a big risk of puncturing a blood vessel if it is not swollen or currently bleeding. If it doesn't remedy itself see a dentist. ...Read more
