Black oil spot in toilet when having bowel movement. On weight watchers eating fish three times a week?
When you say: "black oil spot" the concerning thing it brings to mind is melena: black "tarry" feces associated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. This is such a concerning sign, that even if it is something else, which it might be, you have to be checked out for upper GI bleeding. Weight Watchers is a good idea; I don't think it has anything to do with eating fish. See you doctor ASAP for eval. Good wishes. ...Read more

Good fat vs.: Bad fat. Bad fat in junk food can result in greasy bowel movements and overall deterioration in health. Good fat such as found in coconut oil and olive oil will increase the probability of good health and give you a feeling of satiety so you are not so hungry. Try to eat better now or you may pay for it later. Peace and good health. ...Read more

Silly question, can using castor oil on the scalp promote loose bowel movements? Has been happening to me the last few days of doing this.
P in P: Castor oil needs to be digested in the small intestine before it can cause diarrhea. In the small intestine, castor oil becomes ricinoleic acid. This is what causes the diarrhea. Hence, castor oil placed on the scalp is less likely to be converted to ricinoleic acid and unlikely to be the cause of your loose stools. Enjoy your oils, stay beautiful and p in p (poop in peace)! ...Read more

It depends: On why you are taking/using fish oil. If you have very high triglycerides (>1000), then you may need to take this for the rest of your life or at least until you can undertake interventions that will keep the levels tolerable without fish oil. If you are taking it as a well-being supplement, then it is up to you. ...Read more
