Good fat...: Yes...It is a better type of fat...We need fat in our diet, but unfortunately much of what we get is saturated fat--meaning from animal products. Often from nuts/plants, we get monosurated fat, a good thing. This fat is not as dangerous--not causing much damage to your blood vessels etc...So, monosaturated fat is a better fat to get. How scientifically-based do you think weight watchers is? It calculates points based on protein, fat, carbs, fiber. Fruits/vegs have no points.

Protein drink: You should be having a least 1 solid meal a day, with vegetables ,starch. You need 0.75 to .9 gm protein per pound ( when using kg divide by 2.2) so depending on you weight you are near limit or at limit. For one: You probably should remove the hardware. Increased uptake is informing you there is bone activity. You don't state on what phase. This could indicate a fracture or infection....
