FIRST RESPONSE Early: Result pregnancy test is reported to detect HCG up to 6 days prior to your anticipated period. 2 lines = pregnant ; 1 line = not pregnant. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Positive (faint line) home pregnancy test 2/18, urine test at doc. Confirmed pregnancy. Home test again 2/22 still very faint + line, is this normal?

Yes: I would be concerned if home test went from positive to negative. If you're having a lot of anxiety over this see if your doctor will repeat your serum pregnancy test in a few days, but i would not worry too much. It won't help to be overly stressed. ...Read more

Whay does a faint negative line on pregancy test ?

Re-test in few days.: The concentration and amount of your urine on the strip may affect the intensity of line appearing in the result section. It you can see the line as negative, it is highly likely negative, as these home tests are quite good/accurate. If in doubt, you can retest in a few days... Good luck... ...Read more

I took a pregnancy test the negative line was clearer then the positive line. Am i pregnant?

Repeat in one week.: I don't know how long after intercourse you did this test, but you might have done it too early. This tests HCG or human chorionic gonadotropin, which is made if your egg gets fertilized. This goes up each day after fertilization, so you are more likely to get a positive result the longer you wait. If you test too early, you could get a false negative result, so wait, and see dr. If no change. ...Read more

8 DPO and negative pregnancy test using first response early result 6 days sooner, am i out?

8 DPO and negative pregnancy test using first response early result 6 days sooner, am i out?

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

Does pregnancy test ahowing faint positive result is an evaporation line?when i took my test result was -ve,after several hrs it was faint +ve,prego?

You tell us: Only you know which brand of test you have and what the specific instructions say about the timing of reading the results. It sounds like when you were following the instructions you were not pregnant and the test was a valid one. After the test time frame is accomplished you throw it away. You don't keep it and keep reading it as if a different result will appear. ...Read more
