3 days after?: Do you mean 3 days after sex? Way too early to tell. If she really has a positive test 3 days after sex then she got pregnant the month before. Or do you mean 3 days late on period?

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Can a very faint positive on first response pregnancy test show up darker in half hour? Or is it a evaporation line?

Can a very faint positive on first response pregnancy test show up darker in half hour? Or is it a evaporation line?

Pregnancy Testing: I believe most of us here will tell you that a faint line is a positive test. It is very likely you are pregnant.

I have a very faint line on my first response pregnancy test. Today's line isn't darker than yesterday. Am I pregnant?

Most likely: The darkness of the line doesn't really matter. If there are two lines you are most likely pregnant. Your doctor can perform a blood test if you are concerned.

How accurate is a first response pregnancy test two weeks after conception and Plan B one step? Both tests were negative. Period due this week.

Pregnancy tests: Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate in general and if performed and interpreted correctly, tend to be positive within days after conception.

I took 6 home pregnancy test. 3 was the brand first response and had a dark line and light line. Clear blue was other brand and all came out negative?

Recommend you: See a healthcare provider who will check a blood test to see once and for all if you are pregnant, if you still have questions about that. 3 negative home pregnancy tests usually mean negative, but 3 other iffy results can be worrisome. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.

Some: Some women will continue to have their periods or spotting in the first trimester of pregnancy. If you have had 3 positive pregnancy tests, then you are most likely pregnant and should give your ob/gyne doctor a call. Good luck!

What does a question mark on a first response pregnancy test mean?

What does a question mark on a first response pregnancy test mean?

FIRST RESPONSE Early: Result pregnancy test is reported to detect HCG up to 6 days prior to your anticipated period. A certain amount of HCG is required to trigger a + result for the test. A? Means that the threshold was not met. Recommend you repeat in a week with the first morning void.

Just took a first response pregnancy test still negative what to do now?

Just took a first response pregnancy test still negative what to do now?

Repeat or see OB: If you have sx of pregnancy (nausea, breast tenderness, missed menses, fatigue, etc) repeat the test in a couple of days. Don't spend a fortune on tests, dollar store tests can be accurate but you get what you pay for (ie-not the most reliable...). If you want confirmation, see your doc or OB & get your morning urine checked since it's usually more concentrated & easier to see positive results.

If I take a first response pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex, can I be sure its accurate?

If I take a first response pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex, can I be sure its accurate?

More or less: If you do the test correctly, the results are likely to be accurate if the result is positive. If it is negative, you should repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

I took two first response pregnancy test four days before my expected cycle. Is it safe to consider them accurate?

FIRST RESPONSE Early: Result pregnancy test is reported to detect HCG up to 6 days prior to your anticipated period. If you had 2 positive tests - that should be accurate. If you had negative test results then consider waiting until you miss your period before repeating (and use first morning void).

Will a First Response pregnancy test give an accurate result about 5-6 weeks after sex? Even if I took it in the evening.

Will a First Response pregnancy test give an accurate result about 5-6 weeks after sex? Even if I took it in the evening.

Pregnancy test: Accuracy of pregnancy test is related to the day of ovulation. The average menstrual cycle is 28 days. Testing after 5 to 6 weeks will give an accurate result. Accuracy is better in the morning when the urine is most concentrated.

You are pregnant!: Given that you are late for your period and the test has come back positive twice is pretty convincing that you are pregnant. Given your disbelief, why don't you go in to your doctor and have this confirmed with a blood test and set yourself up for an ultrasound about 7-8 weeks after the first day of your last period.
