Woke up with pain in knuckles below index finger/pain in finger. Have been playing video games a lot. Now swollen/painful can't bend or fully extend?

Video triggerfinger?: It is possible you've developed the disease of young people in the 21st century (trigger finger caused by TOO MUCH video gaming). But to be sure there are other things that could cause pain and swelling in your finger so if after icing, Motrin for 3 days, and NO video games you're not better an examination would be in order. Fractures: Can be minor but there are some that need surgery especially if the joint is not lined up, sprains are ligament injuries and the finger hours are prone to these too in a basketball scenario often these are partial but i'f it is a complete ligament tear trwatment is more complex an evaluation and an x-ray can help to differentiate these injuries if you need care a gand surgeon is a good place.

Swollen red knucle with extreme finger pain may have hit on corner of table weds night (remember saying ouch) 58 years old with osteopenia?

Get examined: Could be a mallet finger, sattital band rupture (boxer's knuckle), or fracture. But hopefully nothing more than a contusion and/or sprain. Can't be sure without an examination and possibly an x-ray. So see your primary care physician or a hand surgeon for a comprehensive evaluation.

Middle finger pain when weighted, like when I do pull-ups or just hanging and the base swollen. I got it after doing repetitive hand-grip exercise.

Avoid exercise: You could have a tendinitis on the finger, tendon or ligament injury, or a bony injury (less likely). Rest the finger by avoiding the exercises movements that make you hurt. May apply cold compresses for 15 minutes to the affected digit 2-3 Xday. See what happens. If there is no improvement then you will need to see your doctor and possibly be referred to a sports medicine, ortho/hand specialist
