Is it normal not to have bowel movement every day after the gastric bypass. I got it 4 years ago and I stay constipated and I drink plenty of water.

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2006. I was wondering if it is normal to have green bowel movements. I have them several times a month for like the past year or so. It is most noticeable the week around my period. Is this normal?
Interesting: If occurring several times a month, not likely associated with your period (unless it is also occurring several times a month?). If no other symptoms (pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, weight loss) then reassuring. Associated with certain foods/beverages (food dyes?). Might want to keep symptom and food diary to see if link.
