Changes. Eat healthfully. Try to eat at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 of fruit per day. Increase nutritional fiber. Avoid refined sugar & junk carbohydrates. Avoid alcohol, sweetened juices, soda & caffeinated beverages. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. Calories burned must > calories consumed. Do both cardio & weight training.
Bacteria: A couple of websites mention that indian fire is another name for impetigo. Impetigo is a skin infection caused by bacteria. The skin gets warm with redness. Sometimes the skin is tender. Please don't look: S. Cordilina contains Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) & Pseudoephedrine both pscyhoactive amines. Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) is banned in the us because it has dangerous effects on brain & heart/blood vessels. The form found in s cordilina can have unregulated concentrations of these dangerous chemicals leading to severe side effects & possible death. 5 m/o diet: It is perfectly fine for a 5 month old to just eat breast milk or formula (breast is best!). If that really does not seem to be satisfying the infant, small amounts of infant rice or oatmeal cereal can be added, as can pureed fruits and vegetables.
