I was in the heat all day. I have a small sunburn. But now my right arm hurts, and fingertips tingle like I hurt it when I did not. Type 1 diabetic ?
Tingling from edema: Bing in the heat all day with sunburn suggests some dehydration possible, and drinking water is key. The tissues of the arm are prone to swelling and that can cause the "right arm" pain and tingling fingers. One would suggest elevation of the arm to decrease swelling, squeezing a nerf ball, 20 min ice and 20 min off. With decrease swelling, the pain should subside. Difficult to say: Tingling in all the fingertips of both hands can be caused by neurapthy (but this is gradual onset) , by certian medications, and by anxiety with hyperventilation. If it just one hand, then problems with the nerves on one side can be the culprit - carpal tunnel syndrome, other causes of nerve irritation.
