There : There are many causes of numbness in the finger tips including spinal cord or nerve compression in the spine, nerve compression in the elbow or wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome) or sick nerves (peripheral neuropathy). The cause of the numbness and associated symptoms of pain, weakness, clumsiness, walking or bowel and bladder problem may make the numbness more worrisome.
