You have arthritis!: With so many joints involved you must have one of many types of arthritis! You need a workup from a rheumatologist. Simply treating pain is never the answer. Right thumb numb tingling painful. Mostly between fingertip and middle thumb joint. Sometimes weakness in hand. Right index finger numb also. ?
Left hand middle finger tight with stiffness. Can't bend it. Swollen @ the joint & palm. No pain, just uncomfortable.
No injury?: Assuming you haven't injured that finger somehow (sometimes it is hard to remember...might have seemed like nothing at the time)... I'm thinking things that aren't exactly "serious", but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt! Possibly tendinitis in that finger, or a bit of arthritis in the joint. Try using an ice pack, and reducing movement, maybe w/ a splint. If it continues, I would get an x-ray. ...Read more

I am experiencing finger tingling (quality: localized to little finger, localized to thumb, localized to index finger) .
So it sounds like: you have tingling of at least 3 of your fingers. One of the most common causes of finger tingling is carpal tunnel syndrome or compression of the median nerve at the wrist.
