Finger Skin Peeling
Dry, cracked, itchy skin between fingers, skin peeling off wrists and arms from itching. Had treatment for scabies and use lotions, both unaffective.
Skin on all toes and some fingers are constantly peeling. Skin is dry. No redness, itch or tenderness. Skin between toes are turning white. I'm black!
There have been white lines on my fingernail of right hand index finger, and this finger skin is always peeling. It has been this for 4 years. Why?

41m Recently noticed white peeling skin on my index fingers and tips of my thumbs. No pain or itch, I am under constant stress. What could this be?
Possible stress: Its interesting that the tips of these two fingers are worn and no others. I would be more aware of how you handle stress, are you constantly rolling these fingers together? Do yo find yourself rubbing the thumb with the index finger etc.
My 2 yr old wasn't eating much for a couple of days then he had skin peeling on finger tips followd by mild fever for a couple of days now toes peelin?
See PCP: The history you give bothers me. This could be something minor but I can think of 2 infectious problems that could have significant consequences if left unrecognized. Try to get in before the weekend or no later than early next week.

Blisters on hand: May be dyshidrosis, a form of eczema or eczema. Agree with both: I agree with both drs. Ferguson and belilovsky. This sounds like a complicated case and more than likely has more than 1 answer. The fevers/skin definitely raises the possibility of kawasakis, ut the other chronic lung problems are best evaluated by your pediatrician and a pulmonologist. Good luck.See 2 more doctor answers
