I did pushup's for the first time yesterday and since 2 night's I have a finger spasm/tremor/twitch. It moved for a few sec's and now it feels weird.
Agreed: Nerve symptoms can feel weird but are often transient. The relationship to the pushup appears indirect at best. See your doctor, make sure your Vitamin levels are up to date. If there is continuing concern an EMG and possible cervical MRI are worth considering. Thereafter get a referral to Occupational aka Hand therapy and they should be able to get you tip top. Causes of Fainting: Possible causes could be a seizure, changes in the blood chemistry, anxiety, or changes with the nervous system. It was a good idea to check the EKG first. These things would: seemingly be unrelated. Essential tremor is unusual at age 20, but not unheard of, and may run in families. Trauma or even early degenerative arthritis may cause finger stiffness and pain with flexion. Knuckle callouses or "pads" can also run in families and be associated with some genetic conditions including fibromatosis, or part of Dupuytren's disease.
