Find Lupus Symptoms Is Chills Cold Sweats And Fevers
I've been feeling cold sweats, minor aches and chills over 24 hours, but there's no fever and it's not getting much worse. Am I getting sick or not?

Chills are caused by rapid muscle contraction and relaxation, and are the body's way of generating heat when it feels that it is cold. Chills often predict the coming of a fever, or an increase in ...Read more
I seem to get cold sweats, chills, coughs and slight fevers about every two -three months due to working conditions what can I do to protect myself more?
Depends on cause: If one is a healthcare worker, she can wear a mask and wash hands often (or use the sanitizing gel/foam). If in sales or marketing, a mask would scare off people, so hand sanitizer is the best one can do. If working in dusty situations where the dust/smoke/irritants in the air make one more prone to catching other respiratory infections, then wearing a mask helps also. Annual flu shot can help. ...Read more

I've been having a fever (99.7-100.9) every night for 4 months, I've been on Humira (adalimumab) over a year for Crohn's, in complete remission. Negative to Lupus or RA. The only other symptom I have is night sweats, and fatigue and back pain.
CROHNS ON HUMIRA (adalimumab): That is good news the CROHNS is in remission. I would recommend an exam and retesting of labs. Recheck autoimmune panel/Thyroid screen/sarcoidosis screen/Immunoglobulin levels. HUMIRA (adalimumab) can sometimes weaken the immune system and cause diseases to reactivate(TB/Fungal Infection ). You describe a now constant pain with a normal stress test in patient with lupus- would definitely consider pericarditis (not unusual in lupus). Also can consider noncardiac etiologies- musculoskeletal cauuses such as costochondritis, or GI causes such as esophagitis, gastritis, peptic ulcer, etc. ...Read more
