Shingles????: Any rash that is painful and burns may not be shingles. Shingles typically happens as a blustery rash which is spread along single dermatome and is not bilaterally symmetrical- meaning if it happens it never involves both sides of body. Acute athlete's foot: The first thing that comes to mind is that this is one of the presentations of acute athlete's foot. Use drying soaks (epsom salts or dilute vinegar) and a topical antifungal...
