Fibromyalgia And Zoloft
I have fibromyalgia and currently on melatonin, meloxicam, and zoloft. Am I ok to take valerian root for sleep and stress?
Probably: Valerian root works on the same brain receptors are valium but is much weaker. The other medications you mention do not crossreact with it. Caution, melatonin can cause abnormal menstrual cycles. I suggest you consult with a reputable naturopathic physician who prescibes appropriate diet, herbs, and supplements. Be careful. Hoping things even out for you soon. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I take 50mg of Zoloft at night. I'm shakey in the morning, is that bc of the Zoloft and will that wear off?
Zoloft onset: According to research studies, about 75% of patients will improve in the first four weeks, but it may take 4 to 6 weeks for the other 25% to improve with antidepressant treatment. Also, it is important a person takes an adequate dose, for some, this may be as much as 150-200 mgs per day. I would go to a dr. Who would see me every few weeks until i was better. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
