Maybe muscle cramps: I sorry to hear about this. Regarding the fever, what do you call a fever? Doctor's classify fever as a temp over 101.3F or 38.5C. Do you have a temp this high every 2 months. Is there any redness around the skin of the calf? But this could be just muscle cramps. You could try eating more bananas for potassium which can help for cramps. Water also helps for cramps. ...Read more

It could be nothing: for a 20 sears old healthy it could be nothing. if you play any sport,it could be a minor injury. if pain persisted you might need to see a doctor to make sure you are not experiencing the beginning of rheumatoid arthritis, you can take ibuprofen to see if that will make the pain go away. you might want to do some leg exercise specially to the quadriceps since it is the muscle that protect knee. ...Read more

Unlikely!: It is far more likely to be an infection, either viral or bacterial. It is also more likely to be an infusion rxn. You need to stop the drug, for at least for vtwo cycles and talk to your doc about your issues. They need to be looked at quickly. ...Read more

My 7 yr old child is having a fever, lower stomach ache, and leg pains. What could wrong with her?

Not sure: Not enough info to make a diagnosis, but from what you describe would strongly recommend having her seen by a doctor asap. As an example this could conceivably be appendicitis with irritation of nerves running into their legs creating the pain. Have them seen, and hope they are better soon. ...Read more

I have a sore throat and my legs ache. Can these be related? I had a fever earlier today. I don't have a spleen.

Viral infection: Most likely a viral infection. Not having a spleen predisposes you to infection by capsular bacteria but you need not be too concerned at this time unless you started to have green nasal discharge or a high fever (>102 F). Be sure to get immunized regularly with Prevnar (pneumococcal vaccine) and Pneumovax . Need to be treated promptly if you have symptoms of bacterial sinus infection which may follow a cold. ...Read more
