Could be: Hemorrhoids. Depends on if you are straining a lot lately or sitting at job much of the time for instance and there is ana-rectal pain upon attempting bm's and excessive itching otherwise. If blood is spotting only and this sounds familiar try non medical counter measures e.g. Baby wipes to wipe, tucks, (witch hazel) whole veggies and fruits to gently soften stools etc. If no improvement see doc next week. ...Read more

Cancer unlikely: It is good that u will be going to ur doctor tmrw as that wld be most appropriate. The commonest cause of blood in stool remains constipation. If u are having hard stools that wld explain it. Other causes are piles, polyps, Meckel' s diverticulum and others.
