Feet Itch After Shower
Often, palms/hands & soles/feet itch after shower (sometimes maddeningly)No new soaps, meds, etc. Skin isn't dry. Hydroxyzine doesn't help. What causes this?
What are the side of effects that cause the side of my feet itch more at night by itching it a lot where it shows red small dots from itching it?
Fungus or eczema: You probably have s fungal infection on the plantar aspect of your feet. The fungal infection causes itching, probably more so at night because you are aware of it, since you are barefoot in bed and have more access to your feet. Dry Skin, Fungus: The most common causes of itchy skin on the soles of your feet are dry skin and athlete's foot which is caused by fungus or yeast. Even if you do not see or smell anything odd, i'd suggest trying a simple over the counter anti fungal cream applied every day and see if the problem resolves. If not, see a doctor. Two Weeks.: You said nothing about treating it already, so I'm under the impression you didn't. Begin by trying an OTC type anti fungal topical. There are many at the local drug store. If you need help, ask the pharmacist. If there is any doubt that this is not a fungal infection and possibly some other problem, then, see your doctor. A lesion that has been around for three years probably warrants a biopsy or least to be seen.

Eczema??: Do your hands and feet get bumps, sometimes blister and peel or crack? And do you get rough itchy spots on your body? The answer for that would be eczema but really can't tell without seeing it. Years is a long time: With the medical conditions you report I would have thought you would have shown this to one of your doctors by now. Have your family doctor take a look and get it taken care of. It could be eczema, tinea or a callus... thyroid problems can cause skin changes. Or it may be some type of growth.
