Fluids, wait it out: There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of home remedies for hangover, but there is little or no evidence for any of them. Dehydration is a major issue, and pushing fluids may help. Toxins build up that have to be metabolized and excreted, and there is really no way to speed that up. Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) for headache, lots of fluids and time.
