Sounds like lid tic: Common reasons for an eyelid tic (myokymia) are stress, lack of sleep, alcohol, too many stimulants (e.g., coffee, tea, cola, energy drinks/pills) and something locally irritating the eye, like dryness or allergy. I suggest trying to modify the above factors, take a break from contact lenses if you use them, and use otc artificial tears or allergy drops. If this doesn't help, see your eye md. ...Read more

Likely a stye!: Some times an early stye creates this hot sensation with a pulsating feeling. Try some warm compresses over eye and some lubricating drops. If it persists see an ophthalmologist! ...Read more
