P Lease make and appointment and be seen. It could be tightening of the esophageal muscles (achalasia). I would also suggest seeing an acupuncturist as well as t can be very helpful in conjunction with whatever is found by your regular doctor.

Can gerd cause lightheaded feeling and swollen glands? I am a 41 year old female, have a hiatal hernia. Feeling like food is stuck in chest as well.

Unlikely

Hernias
I would see a doctor about the swollen glands and lightheadedness. Unlikely related to HH. Hiatal hernia and acid reflux could cause the esophagus to spasm or even develop scar tissue and narrowing. This would cause the feeling of food sticking or catching. I would see your doctor about getting a test to check your esophagus. If not already taking acid medication twice a day, recommend doing so

I have had chest pains at night for the past 2 nights i have the feeling food is stuck in throat and twitching in my abdomen now I see blood in stools?

See your doctor

When you are on coumadin and have blood in your stool, you need to report those symptoms immediately to your doctor. You need to see what your INR and hematocrit (blood level) are. Chest pain with a feeling like something is stuck in the throat is usually worked up by having a barium swallow, or, more likely in your case, an Endoscopy where the GI doc looks in your esophagus and stomach.

A proper evaluation would require a more detailed history, physical examination and may be imaging study. It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Having burning feeling in chest and can't keep down food and water for three days. Thoughts?

SERIOUS

GET SEEN! When you say: 'Can't keep down water' , this will lead to dehydration, so this is a serious situation. You MAY have an esophageal (food pipe) obstruction due to stricture (scar) or tumor. The chest burning suggests esophagitits (esophageal inflammation) which can be caused by acid reflux or yeast infection (candida). You MAY need scope (EGD) & acid blocker (PPi) Hope you get well soon!

Shortness of breathe after eating. Feeling like chest is closing. Underneath breast instantly blowsup after 3-4 bites of food. Whole body's bloated?

Aerophagia

Nutrition
You sound like you're swallowing air. This is an unconscious act related to irritation in the digestive tract (e.g. GERD, peptic ulcer disease, etc) and sometimes becomes conditioned for stress reduction. You need an evaluation. Meds and behavior modification can be very helpful.
