When: You eaf, a signal goes to the brain. As the signals crescendo as you fill the stomach a center in the brain tells you that you have had enough. If your diet contains a lot of "junk" (especially sweets) the brain becomes more sensitive to all input signals. Thus the "jittery" feeling is a result of the input signal from the stomach. Some thoughts...: It can be common for people to get a bloated feeling after eating- especially with spicy, acidic or heavy foods, caffeine, and alcohol. Dairy products can do it as well (many of us get a little lactose intolerant as we age). Should pass: Probably related to some component of the food including preformed toxin or some inflammatory condition (viral/ bacterial), all tagged under either food poisoning or gastroenteritis. This should pass, avoid dairy for a couple of days, drink water, liquids, dry toast etc, give it about 24 - 48 hrs, should improve. May be hypoglycemia: These symptoms could well be due to hypoglycemia, which is low blood sugar. Drug interaction?: This is not unusual if you've had 3 drinks or more; at that dose alcohol is very hazardous to your health.This is your body warning you not to drink so much. You could get seriously injured in a fall.
