I'm 9 weeks pregnant with baby #8. Is it possible to feel movement flutters this early?

Probably gas: Most women can reliably feel fetal movement by 16 weeks if they have had a few kids. We know they are quite active as early as 12 wks, but there is relatively more fluid than baby at that point so the movement would be hard to detect. Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

9 weeks pregnant and constipated. I drink water and gatorade. And Jane been eating bran cereal. Haven't had a normal bowel movement for about a week.

Include more fiber: In diet! Gatorade is mainly sugar, and not so great for electrolyte replacement. There is something with less sugar called Vitamin Water, but what is even safer is coconut water (fresh). That was used in WW2 to treat wounded soldiers IV! In any case, call your OB/GYN for further direction, and eat more cooked greens and veges. Better to use organic steel cut oats, than bran (GMO). Read more

I'm nine weeks pregnant and im not feeling any movements about a week ago I was feeling something. Does that mean somethings wrong?

I'm nine weeks pregnant and im not feeling any movements about a week ago I was feeling something. Does that mean somethings wrong?

Not: Not to worry. If you are pregnant for this first you are likely to start feeling the baby moving around 18 to 20 weeks. A woman who has had babies before may feel it as early as 15 to 17 weeks. Feeling the baby kick might feel like a little fluttering sensation. The first time you feel the baby kick is called quickening. You probably had gas moving through your GI or tract something else. The baby's movements can't be felt by the mother at 9 weeks. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Read more

Morning sickness: Nausea in pregnancy lasts for different amounts of time in different women. For most, it resolves by the end of the first trimester, although it can certainly persist longer. It can also end earlier in the pregnancy, and some people do not ever get morning sickness. There is a wide range of normal for this condition. Read more

It is unlikely: From the watermelon. It is easy to consume a lot, it has much water, probably pregnancy nausea. If others are not ill, likely not food poisoning but if persistent, and has bad diahrea, consider getting seen. Good luck, should be fine. Read more

Sharp middle and upper back pain and upper tummy. Vomiting 9 weeks pregnant feeling weak and tired?

Hang in there: Provided you are healthy, and you have had an early sonogram to document an intrauterine pregnancy, these symptoms will likely pass. Consider trying an antacid, and contact your doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen. Occasionally, a peptic ulcer or problems related to your gallbladder may cause these symptoms. They would require further evaluation. Read more
