Feeling Faint Heart Racing Waking Up In Middle Of Night Chocking
Hi, my pulse is very weak. I've been suffering lately from orthostatic tachycardia and faintness and had heart tests done but the very weak pulse is new with more frequent chest and jaw discomfort.
Too compicated: This is not an issue to be addressed on the internet. You need a good cardiologist or an internist with good cardiovascular knowledge to see and manage you aggressively. Could not even begin to answer your question (if I knew what it was) without full records, exam and testing. ...Read more
Faintness is a description of the initial manifestations of a syncopal spell where one loses consciousness for a few seconds usually. This is often due to drop in blood pressure, provoked by a noxious stimulus, but can be seen in dehydration. Initial general malaise, light-headedness, dizziness, contraction and darkening of vision, responding to recumbent posture. ...Read more

Is pain in the carotid artery a sign of heart failure with frequent PVC's, faintness, fast heart rate and bloating?
Carotid artery: Disease in itself has no symptoms; it causes symptoms when blood flow to the brain is decreased because of it. Perhaps you are having neck pain, near the location of the carotid artery, but I would not interpret that as a sign of heart failure or cause of PVC's. Certainly frequent PVC's might be a sign of more serious dysrhythmia causing faintness/fast heart rate. You need to continue cardiac care ...Read more

I was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur. I have been feeling faint lately. What kind of test should I take to get a better what kind of test should I take to get a better diagnosis
A murmur is not a diagnosis. It is a sound. It can be innocent and mean nothing, or be a sign of a disease process. The doctor who heard it should tell you one way or another if they are concerned it is a disease, they will refer you to a cardiologist or order an echocardiogram. An echo is only necessary if your doctor thinks you have a problem.
Feeling faint can be a lot of things. ...Read more

What is used calcium and glucose in case of faintness state (with tachycardia, respiratory insufficiency, pallor, poor view and hearing) for?
Suspected low sugar: In the short term, low blood sugar is more dangerous than high level and so rapidly giving sugar for suspected symptom is a safer bet. After loosing 18 pounds and trying for 10 more Will my thyroid medication need to be adjusted? Feeling jittery and heart racing. 125 mcg's now.
Yes most definitely: You will need to look at the thyroid tests again and see if a dose adjustment is in order. Losing weight not only decreases the body's burden and blood flow requirement, it also increases the basal metabolic rate and effectively increases some hormone production in the body. If you feel that your thyroid medication may be too much at this point, it probably is. See a healthcare provider. ...Read more
