Hangover/gastritis: Perhaps you're still suffering hangover effects from excess alcohol consumption. Also, alcoholic gastritis could account for nausea & vomiting. You might consider calcium carbonate, H2 blocker such as ranitidine or PPI (proton pump inhibitor) such as omeprazole. Overweight: Your husband is having symptoms of weakness and feeling more hungry which could be early signs of diabetes mellitus. Given that he is also overweight and a smoker, I would suggest that he gets screened for hypertension and diabetes.
