I'm always feeling dizzy, nauseous. Lightheaded. I took my blood sugar test after eating a goid meal was 5.7. Is it normal or too low? Blood tests r good
Normal but,,: Apparently, this is in normal range as the measurement is in mmol/l instead of mg/dl. Your result of 5.7 is in normal range but it usually gets higher after a meal. This and your symptoms could mean low sugar or hypoglycemia and it could have been much lower before you ate. It's a good idea to see a doctor right away for a fasting sugar test and diet management. Lump-in-throat feeling and lower oesoph. Discomfort after eating a hot meal 2 fast. Can food go down the wrong pipe to the lungs without you knowing?
Lump in throat: No. Food in the trachea would cause immediate, severe coughing. Far more dramatic than a lump in the throat. You are mauch more likely to have some issue with you esophagus/stomach. Eat slowly, try some pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) for discomfort. See you primary care doc for an evaluation. (PS if you are taking a lot of ibuprofen, that might be the culprit.) Read more
Pain in legs after eating food and feeling sleepy and even after 2-2.5 hours sleep felling pain in legs as well as other muscles too and can't control my sleep I don't know why? This happns after every meal.
I become really tired after eating, even after a small meal. No energy. Why? Should I be concerned?
Postprandial: When we ingest food blood is diverted to the intestinal tract to aid in the digestive process. This takes circulating blood away from the rest of the body including muscles, the heart and the brain leading to sleepiness especially after large meals and muscle cramps if you exercise too soon after a meal. You seem to have an exaggerated reaction even after a small meal. Try drinking tea or coffee Read more
