Would an ANA Test be as accurate as a Skin biopsy for DLE?

Would an ANA Test be as accurate as a Skin biopsy for DLE?

No: Biopsy is much more useful. A positive ANA test is not diagnostic of DLE and a negative result does not exclude it. ANA needs to be interpreted along with clinical findings and results of other tests. You may consult the article listed below and discuss the matter with your doctor.

DLE Taking Cerelle 3 mths but due to costs GP refuses repeat shouldn't the brand initiated be maintained to Patient due to bioviable different generic

DLE Criteria: Studies show that up to 28 percent of people with DLE develop Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. If a person has SLE also the American College of Rheumatology and SLIIC criteria can be used to help determine the presence of disease.
