I have stopped using imovane for 3 months and the symptoms i felt for sporadic fatal insomnia can the symptoms be from stop usinging sleeping pills?

What are the early symptoms of fatal insomnia. I'm having trouble getting to and maintaining sleep and don't see how anything else could cause this.
