Fat Free High Protein Foods
I am 19 yrs I have chronic pancreatitis (idiopathic), I want to increase my weight any advice for exercise. I am having fat free food no animal proteins?
Will be difficult.: Most ppl w/ CIP become thin. To increase weight, you need 2 increase caloric (food) intake. I normally recommend exercise & increasing protein intake. However, ur diet & pancreas preclude this. There must be some (vegetable?) proteins that you can consume. I would have you coordinate with a nutritionist who is experienced with your condition. Tell them ur problem & ask them how to gain wt safely.
What negative health complication could arise when doing protein shake diet, high protein, zero carb and zero fat, for a short period (10 days)?
Putting a lot of: stress on your kidneys. Good fats help maintain skin, brain health, digestion, and absorption of vital nutrients from food, vegetables, fruits, and enzymes. So not having that for 10 days seems rather severe. Also, there is thought that a no fat diet tends to make people have less satiety and feel hungry more. What type of protein, vegetable or meat? It's not a balanced approach. Low carb is better.See 1 more doctor answer
I eat healthy with a lots of fiber, protein and fat free dairy. I also workout and yoga. But I still get quite a bit bloating in my belly.
May be: The fat free dairy! Bloating like this is frequently due to dairy foods. Please remember that we are the only animals that drink the milk of another animal. It is also possible that bovine growth hormone, antibiotics or methods of processing are the underlying cause.
Most low fat and fat free foods are high in sugar. However I'm told these are better choices when it comes to dairy. Should I eat whole or low fat?
Opinions, opinions: I don't think it will matter too much - so a big part of your answer will be which you like better. Also different brands can differ. But, I've heard from nutritionist friends that the range from whole to fat free is much smaller than the public thinks. If you have gall bladder problems or a specific reason to avoid fat, think non-dairy! Otherwise, read labels & buy what you like.
Depends: If you eat dairy products you can try greek yogurt or cottage cheese (otherwise soy/almond/coconut yogurt). Non dairy sources include chia seeds, beans, lentils, quinoa, eggs, artichokes, broccoli, avocado, asparagus, tofu, peas, spinach, beet greens, peanuts, pistachios, sesame seeds, garbanzo beans.See 1 more doctor answer

What are some high protein vegan foods, other than tofu? Would like to know the high protein, low fat ones.
Beans, nuts, seeds: All beans, lentils and chickpeas are good sources of protein, as are nuts & seeds. Hemp seeds contain as much protein as any food and it is a "complete" protein rich in essential fats. Quinoa is the highest protein grain. Seitan from gluten is also high in protein. While nuts and seeds do have some fats, these are relatively healthy fats. See nutrition/protein.
Should I continue consuming around 3000 calories of clean low fat high protein foods for the muscle gain?
Not that Simple: Endurance, slow twitch, red muscles (eg. Cardiac muscle) primarily burn fat. Higher strength, quick twitch, more white/less red (lower capillary density/blood flow) muscle burns more sugar. No scientific evidence that sat. Fats, of natural origin, less healthy than carbs/protein, indeed opposite true. Study: big fat lies, mcgovern's report, science for smart people, dietdoctor, nusi. Org, lustig.
I want to know which foods are high in protein and low in carbohydrates. I want to gain muscle and lose fat.
Wrong forum: You are asking us to teach you things that are impossible to answer in 400 characters or less. You do not need a doctor to tell you what sugars and proteins are.
Looking for high protein vegan foods. What percent of tofu (regular square blocks, medium or hard type) is protein, fat, and carbohydrate?
Beans, nuts, seeds: 1 cup of tofu has 20 grams protein, 10 grams of fat & 4 grams of carbohydrates. All beans, lentils and chickpeas are good sources of protein, as are nuts & seeds. Hemp seeds contain as much protein as any food and it is a "complete" protein. Quinoa is the highest protein grain. Seitan from gluten is also high in protein. See http://www. Vrg. Org/nutrition/protein. Htm for more info.
What are some food that I can eat that's high in protein and fat but low in carbs? I always come up short in protein and I use calorie trackers.
Nuts may be best bet: Don't know whether you are looking for snack or regular foods. Of course meat would be the obvious answer, but nuts contain very good fats as well as significant protein. Almonds and walnuts are probably best. So do cheeses. Of course they have calories, but you do need fats and calories at your age to continue to develop normally.
Low fat is unhealthy: Eating low fat is unhealthy. There are many bad fats in our food supply such as hydrogenated and many of the plant based oils. You should always avoid those and foods fried at high temperatures (hi temp alters fats). Keep in mind, though, that your brain is mostly fat and you have to have fats and cholesterol to make hormones and cells.See 1 more doctor answer

I'm on a homely diet since April : Low fat, Medium Carb & veg protein. Low on Ani protein, no red meat, No fast food, greasy/fried food. High Veg, Fruits. Brisk walking. I lost 13 lbs in this tenure. Is this normal loss or I am seriously ill inside?
Weight loss: 1-2 pounds per week is the recommended healthy weight loss pace, but be careful with the quantity of fruits and grains you eat daily. People doing this kind of diet have a tendency to eat to much fruit or grains which has high sugar and carbohydrates content and this can decrease the weight loss pace.See 2 more doctor answers

Weight loss: Hi GpC, you have made some great changes, and weight loss is to be expected. Losing 1-2lbs/week is considered healthy weight loss. If you become weak, tired, or have other symptoms suggestive of malignant weight loss, go see your doctor. Otherwise, keep it up. You are doing great!See 1 more doctor answer

Fat free milk: Some fat free milk has skim milk solids added to help colorized the product. Oxidized cholesterol may be high in these products. The jury remains out in deciding what levels are problematic and whether oxidized cholesterol in humans is a problem.
Low fat foods: Low fat foods may help but not if they contain additional sugar. Losing stomach weight is difficult and unlikely without consistent aerobic exercise 4 to 5 times a week in your target zone. Exercise plus good nutrition is important, particularly focus on a plant based diet like the mediterranean diet. Best wishes.
