I am 19 yrs i have chronic pancreatitis(idiopathic), i want to increase my weight any advice for exercise.i am having fat free food no animal proteins?
Will be difficult.: Most ppl w/ CIP become thin. To increase weight, you need 2 increase caloric (food) intake. I normally recommend exercise & increasing protein intake. Putting a lot of: stress on your kidneys. Good fats help maintain skin, brain health, digestion, and absorption of vital nutrients from food, vegetables, fruits, and enzymes. I eat healthy with a lots of fiber, protein and fat free dairy. I also workout and yoga. But i still get quite a bit bloating in my belly.
Most low fat and fat free foods are high in sugar. However i'm told these are better choices when it comes to dairy. Should i eat whole or low fat?

Beans, nuts, seeds: All beans, lentils and chickpeas are good sources of protein, as are nuts & seeds. Hemp seeds contain as much protein as any food and it is a "complete" protein rich in essential fats. Quinoa is the highest protein grain. Seitan from gluten is also high in protein. Not that Simple: Endurance, slow twitch, red muscles (eg. Cardiac muscle) primarily burn fat. Higher strength, quick twitch, more white/less red (lower capillary density/blood flow) muscle burns more sugar. No scientific evidence that sat.
