Exercise: The HCG approach to weight loss is not recommended by multiple reputable medical organizations and fda (http://www.Fda.Gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm281333.Htm) clinical trials show no extra weight loss beyond diet alone. OK but...: This is ok but if you really want to lose weight you might avoid the bread as less carbs will help; some feel gluten causes obesity so rice or quinoa might be better. Difficult: Official guidance is 20-35% of calories from fat and each 1g fat is 9 calories so probably around 55-95g fat per day. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/patientinstructions/000747.htm Main fat to reduce is saturated fat. Too many calories: Minimal weight loss despite exercise and eating a healthy diet is most likely due to consuming beyond the calorie limit required for your body to burn fat. You have to eat about 3500 calories less than what you burn over 7 days to lose just 1 pound! Track your calories by weighing and measuring your food and using the label information. Probably not; unwise: Drinking just water for 5 days should result in losing several pounds temporarily but may not be enough to slim your face. I don't advise water fasting; toxins come out of our fat & without nutrients to support detox we can become ill,so doing veggies or a juice fast & taking a multivit. is advised. You can help build: Muscle w/protein and burn fat w/exercise. Exercise will also help you to build muscle because we tear muscle fibers apart when exercising and when the grow back together they create more muscle mass. Peace and good health. Have been losing approx 1lb per day. Yesterday ate 530 calories less than daily amount plus burned 240 calories but gained .6lbs. What am i doing wrong? Ate no junk food, low fat, cals, carbs.

Not a daily effect: Keep a dietary journal and graph your weight on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Add cross training: high and low impact aerobics and remember that diet= what you eat, what you do and who you are. Exercise with a picture of yourself at a thinner weight ( who you are ) and also have a picture of yourself ( or someone you want to look like) placed on your dressing mirror.
