Vitamins/thrush: If your baby is taking a vitamin supplement, those usually are orange and can make the tongue appear an orange color. Also, newborns can get oral thrush, which makes a white coating on the tongue. This white coating is easily dyed by vitamins. Dermatology: Without seeing it in person, it's really hard to give you an accurate diagnosis on what it is, but I think it's probably a god sign that it doesn't hurt or bleed or cause you many problems.
