Fast Heart Rate After Waking Up
Can slow or increase: Standing up quickly causes blood to pool in the legs and causes the blood pressure to drop transiently. How transient depends on how compensated a person is. If dehydrated, elderly, anemic, or diabetic, then the blood pressure can remain depressed and will actually lead to a fast heart rate. The only time that the hr would slow would be if the vagus nerve got activated - vasovagal response. ...Read more
Cortisol surge: In the morning there is a cortisol surge that is associated with higher heart rate and blood pressure in the mornings... This does not mean that this increase in heart rate and blood pressure is supposed to sustain throughout the day. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned... Palpitations occurring had panic attack yday head goes numb couple seconds heart rate slows when walking up stairs to worryingly slow bps chest pains?
Confusing: I know you're limited in the number of characters you can type, but your question is very confusing to me. (maybe it's my american english?) :) for your palpitations: there are many causes/kinds. You need a 24 hour holter recording to see what's actually happening. ...Read more

Can be normal : Shortness of breath can be normal during pregnancy due to a combination of hormones and upward pressure on the diaphragm from the growing uterus. However, things like blood clots that travel to the lungs are also more common in pregnancy. Your symptoms warrant evaluation by a medical professional who can check your vital signs and probably provide reassurance. ...Read more
Is a heart rate of 77 after walking 80 minutes at 2.3mph good? Is a higher heart rate normal after waking up? I want to lower my resting heart rate.
Trick Question?: Well... If you just finished exercise at 70% pmhr, your hr is... (drumroll)... 70% pmhr. Now if you're asking about recovery, hr will generally decline to 50% pmhr within 5 minutes for most people, though it depends heavily on whether you had an anaerobic component in there too. ...Read more

See someone: See a cardiologist or a primary care physician. They can place a 24 hour holter monitor, a device that records your heart beat mechanism for 24 hours. In this manner you can ascertain whether or not you are having an arrhythmia (or in other words abnormal heart rhythm).. Its all guesswork until you do this. ...Read more
Normal: This is a normal physiologic response as the blood tends to move toward your feet when you stand up. Your heart compensates by increasing the strength of the contraction and/or increasing the heart rate. If it is uncomfortable or you experience lightheadedness it may indicate that you are a little dehydrated. ...Read more
