I had a back surgery and was prescribed pain pills that have cause some constipation. What is a good and fast acting over-the-counter laxative ?
Constipation: There are several options. I usually tell my pts to take a bottle of magnesium citrate to help initially. Then start a daily regimen of Miralax (polyethylene glycol).
