No suicidal thoughts: Subclavian steal is a purely vascular syndrome, where using your arms vigorously takes blood from the arteries going to the brain in people with abnormal anatomy of the blood vessels. Does drinking one or two alcoholic beverages negatively affect memory or other brain functions? I (22 yr old) suffer from poor memory and am worried.
Doubtful: It's unlikely that just a couple of drinks have that major of an effect on your brain. Some people do just have poor memory. There are specific areas of your brain that deal with memory - immediate, short and long term memory.
