Not usually a sign: Fetal alcohol syndrome, FAS, can cause some problems in the head and neck but I am not aware of it causing problems like you describe The baby is likely having normal reflux which is seen in almost all babies. This can be helped with smaller and more frequent feedings. If the baby does not gain weight then your doctor may start a treatment but generally babies outgrow the vomiting/reflux ...Read more

I doubt: Anything is possible. However, i doubt that brain tumor is the case here.There are many factors that are related to memory problems-especially in the case of alcohol and endocrine problems ( which one?) i think in your case-other causes such as vit B12 deficiency, hypothyroidism or hepatic encephalopathy related to alcohol - need to be checked as those could be the reason why you become forgetful. ...Read more

Doubtful: It's unlikely that just a couple of drinks have that major of an effect on your brain. Some people do just have poor memory. There are specific areas of your brain that deal with memory - immediate, short and long term memory. Should see a neurologist for evaluation, but if determined no organic cause, then you can "exercise" your brain and quite dramatically improve memory function! ...Read more
