I'm wondering how long after I have gotten my dental braces will i see a difference in straighter teeth?

Quite soon: I would say, "quite soon", as the exact number of months or weeks will be impossible to give without knowing your pre-braces condition and your idea of "straighter". With that being said, you will notice a nice change within 3-6 months in most cases. Ask your orthodontist/dentist how your teeth will be moved: if back teeth need to move a lot first, you may not see much difference for a while. ...Read more

Hi, how long after getting braces put on and baby teeth extracted can a "fake" tooth or "flipper" be put on the wire?

Ask your orthodontis: Since you are currently in braces and are under the care of an orthodontist, he/she would be the best person to ask this question. In your case it might not be a matter of how soon/how long, but if it is appropriate and when is it most appropriate. What to do if I have braces, can I still have a dental x-ray?

X-rays with braces?: Yes, you can still have x-rays taken. Metal bands and bracket will block some of the areas of the teeth that are normally visible on x-rays. In certain cases we forgo taking x-rays when patients have orthodontic attachments, while in other cases it becomes more important to see on x-ray what we cannot with a visual examination.
