Hirsutism of PCOS: Excess facial hair (hirsutism) in female is often caused by androgen (male-hormone) excess, commonly from polycystic-ovarian-syndrome (pcos). Adequate treatment of pcos, which is difficult, often improves facial hair, but takes time. Some med such as spironolactone can help, but again takes many months. Laser or electrolysis are probably most effective and fastest. Consult doc for eval. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Hi i'm 18 and i barely've some facial hair.I'm having a dns problem so is it due to dns i' m NT having beard bcx everyone in my family has thick beard?
I'm 18 and still i don't have any facial hair growth. And I have not yet tried any medicine or other ways to grow.. So please help my problem?
Maybe it's you!: Around 5% of men never do get a decent beard or much chest hair. Nowadays, many (most?) women claim they prefer this, and such guys don't go bald. Joel Kinneman (photo) isn't complaining, and neither did Paul Newman, the first Hollywood star to show off a truly fit body. Be grateful for whatever Nature gave you, and make lifelong fitness a habit -- you'll look fantastic even with no beard. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I look very very younger to my age. I feel the problem is with my facial hair and facial features. How can I grow them ??have a look at my pic, I'm 26

At 26, you are at the age where your physical maturity is likely peaked, but you have not yet started showing any signs of aging. As you get older, you are more likely to appreciate your youthful appearance. ...Read more
My problem is regarding my facial hair. I am 19 years old male and I am struggling with my thin facial hair , is there any supplement for faster growt?
Your genes: How thick or thin a beard you can grow is entirely genetic. I am going to assume that you are normally masculinized with normal erections and ejaculations. It has nothing to do with your virility. Many women in the usa and europe prefer a man with a thin beard; if your culture expects you to grow a thick one, you have my sympathy. Teen idol justin bieber (photo) can't grow a beard either. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Does shaving the facial hair with a blade make it thick or no problem in using the blade on face and hands?
i am a 19 year old male. I'm 181cm tall and weighs 75kg. My problem is that I have little facial hair, it started growing at the age of 16 or 17.
No simple answer: This is not unusual and may represent a slight delay in onset of puberty. However your pediatrician will likely review your growth curve and may obtain some basic lab studies and x-rays to assess your hormonal status and growth. ...Read more
I am 20, i feel like I have low sex drive and erection problems.I never had any before an year.My facial hair grow at a slow rate. Can it be infertility?
Possibly hormonal: Unusual at age 20. Could be a hormonal issue (e.g., low testosterone) or many other things. See your doctor, have an open and honest discussion, and get a good medical workup. You may need to follow up with an endocrinologist, but a discussion with your primary care doctor would be a good starting point. ...Read more
