2 month old son fell off bed light red bruise on bottom of his head right above neck it's been a month and it's still their. Why?
Are you sure?: Are you sure it wasn't there before? It sounds like a "stork bite." it is very common for babies/kids to have a light red splotch on the nape of the neck. However, when a 2 month old falls off anything he should be seen/examined by his pediatrician asap. Loss of consciousnes: Any 1yo that is knocked out by a fall should probably be evaluated. Umm, hard to say.: Heat rash. Viral rash. Allergy rash. Infectious rash. Eczema. Contact dermatitis. The best strategy is to determine the source of the rash then address that specifically.
