Can u fix wide set eyes. I really can't look people in the eyes because my eyes are spaced apart is there any way to make them closer in?

Usually yes: If you mean that one eye or both are misaligned such that the eyes don't point at the same target together (called exotropia, a form of strabismus) then yes. Eye muscle surgery is commonly performed both to improve cosmetic results & to reduce any double vision. Otherwise, if distance between pupils is more than average & eyes are straight, surgery is generally not recommended for this situation

My friend is having eye floaters since last 5 years and he is getting irritation with it. Is there any medical treatment apart from surgery?

Little but surgery: Surgery is a last resort and is only considered when the floaters are continuous, prevent normal vision and interfere with lifestyle. A few very anteriorly placed floaters can be dispersed with laser treatment. There is no medical treatment for floaters.

Are wide side eyes a bad thing?

Are wide side eyes a bad thing?

Please clarify: Not sure what you mean by "wide side eyes". If you meant "wide set eyes", meaning the eyes are farther apart than average, this is not a bad thing, just a normal variation in facial anatomy.

When do I need to seek medical help for mattery eyes?

When do I need to seek medical help for mattery eyes?

Vision, symptoms: If you have mattery eyes, it can be due to tear deficiency, blepharitis (which is like eyelid dandruff) or something more serious. Seek an ophthalmologist if the vision is affected, the eyes hurt, there is pus, lashes are falling out, there is chronic redness, or the condition persists.

Feeling weight on eyes. What does it means medically?

Feeling weight on eyes. What does it means medically?

Not really weight: Your eyes may have a heavy/pressure feeling, but this rarely means that real pressure is building in your eye (glaucoma). The main reasons for this are that your eye surface is dry/irritated, or that you're getting eyestrain from trying to do near vision work. This latter condition is an age-related focus dysfunction (presbyopia) that can be fixed with glasses. See your doctor just to be safe.

What is a medical/psychological term for empty eyes?

What is a medical/psychological term for empty eyes?

I don't think there: Is a medical/psychological term for empty eyes. Since you have been waiting for a while, my guess is that there is not one. It could be used as a description of someone who is despondent ; not making eye contact when speaking with people.

Is there any medical term to describe "difficulty in fantasizing things" means when we close eyes and reminds past memories.

Hope more reply too: There could be various reasons for such a difficulty, but in psychotherapy some might call it resistance or defensiveness. Some forms of brain damage could result in such a problem too. It's also possible that some may never develop the skill at all due to intellectual deficits or cultural values. Borderline trauma at Piaget's stage VI can do it.

What is the medical explanation for why some peoples vision is better than others. Am I just born with bad eyes? Or a dysfunction while developing?

What is the medical explanation for why some peoples vision is better than others. Am I just born with bad eyes? Or a dysfunction while developing?

Few are perfect.: Vision is determined by the shape and clarity of the lens and cornea and the length of the eye. In addition there ha to be normal retina and optic nerve. I see hundreds of patients where these are not normal. Most commonly people are myopic-the eye is long and people need glasses. Very few are perfect. They just put up with less than perfect vision and don't wear glasses.

Medical ethanol got into my eye. What would happen to my eyes?

Medical ethanol got into my eye. What would happen to my eyes?

Damage: This could act as a desiccant or strong irritant. Needs washed out thoroughly at the time of occurrence and then to see optometrist or ophthalmologist. This would be to scan the cornea for irritation or other problems. See the doc to make sure your eyes are ok. Do not wear contacts until you do.

What is it called when your eyes water? Is there a medical term for this?

What is it called when your eyes water? Is there a medical term for this?

Epiphora: Consistent watery eyes = epiphora. This can be due to a blocked tear drainage (duct) or even dry eyes. Dry eyes cause watery eyes due to a reflex pathway which tells your brain "my eye are dry" so it send a signal to the lacrimal gland to create more tears. If the drainage of tear outflow is blocked, then any tears you make will just overflow out of the eyelids, instead of draining out.

When my eyes are closed I see black shadows moving together and then apart from each other with intermittent flashes of light in-between. Serious?

Normal: The eye and brain do not like to have a pattern of incoming information interrupted. When you close your eyes, the signal diminishes substantially and your normally active eye and brain send internal patterns and signals to compensate. Don't worry about this and enjoy the show.

Does fraser syndrome cause wide set eyes?

Does fraser syndrome cause wide set eyes?

Yes, it can: Fraser syndrome is an autosomal recessive congenital disorder characterized by developmental defects including cryptophthalmos (where the eyelids fail to separate in each eye), and malformations in the genitals, and mental retardation, among other defects. Hypertelorism, or increased separation between the eyes, has also been noted.
