Eye Sensation: Did you get a LipiScan or Lipiview done? Bleed: Sounds like a sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. As long as the vision is unchanged and there is no pain, everything should be fine. If it is a little irritated, then you can use an artificial tear up to 4 times a day to lubricate. This is due to a blood vessel leaking blood and is usually without cause. Sometimes straining or blood thinner can cause this. If it continues to happen, follow up! ...Read more

Many possibilities: It can be way too many things to list, such as chronic allergies, pterygium, chronic dry eyes, large blood vessels, etc. An ophthalmologist would be able to tell. The one thing you don't want to start doing is self treating with very dangerous eye drops, such as visine and clear eyes, which will certainly make it worse. Can't be sure: You can try using black tea bags on your closed eye (steep in warm water to activate first, then place over your closed eye- not hot!). Do this for 10 minutes 5 times/day. Tea has an anti-inflammatory effect and may help. My concern is for infection so if it does not improve, and certainly if it worsens, or if there is pain on eye movement, you must be seen by a doctor. ...Read more
