Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
My Girlfriend is experiencing sensation of something in eye, unintentional weight loss, eye irritation and dry eyes.
Few issues her: With regards to the eye. See doctor. Never delay when it comes to eyes. An examination is needed here to give a correct diagnosis. With regard to weight loss need more information. Need to give a good history. This is a broad area and much needs to be examined
Would spending too much time on technology make my eyelid more puffier? As I spend more time on my phone, my eyelid are more becoming more heavier.
Technology & eyes: Staring at a computer or phone can dry the eyes because we do not move them around the way we would do otherwise. Please see your doc to make sure all is well medically. Then, remember to move your eyes a little rather than staring at the screen. Look at something else completely every 20 minutes or so for a minute or so. Peace and good health.
Headache: It may be an upper respiratory viral illness or sinusitis. Try to rest and drink plenty of fluids. See your healthcare provider if symptoms do not subside within 2 days or if they worsen at any time.
I tinted my eyebrows at home a day ago and wokeup with puffy looking eyelids and they feel really heavy and my vision is kind of blurry what can I do?
My top left eyelid has been twinging a few times every day for a a couple of weeks now acts a little heavy when correcting itself. .....?
Stress relief: If this problem is isolated to your eyelid, it is called myokymia. Myokymia of the eyelid usually resolves within a few weeks. It is associated with stress, lack of sleep and excess caffeine. If the problem persists see you eye doctor and he/she may advise some drops that have helped some people. If the problems spreads to other parts of the face, see your regular doctor.
Allmost every time I wake up one time after a hour slep, I am Allmost paralized in my left in 7 sec. My left eyelid is very heavy also. What is this?
7 sec and not 7 min: It's called 'waking up.' Some people experience this, which can can be scary, but it only lasts a few seconds. If you wake up during a certain phase of sleep, this can happen. Sometimes, it's just a dream to awaken from. If you were 65 and it lasted longer, I'd be worried. If it lasted longer in you, I'd be asking you what you did (or took) the night before.
This may sound weird but my eyelid feels little heavy and when I blink it tightens up then relaxes a bit. It has been doing it for wk now. What is it?
A few suggestions: Many possibilities. Assuming no changes in vision and not having any additional information, here are some things that it could be (although I can't make a complete list without more info). asthenopia, muscle spasm of orbicularis muscle in eyelid, thyroid eye disease (Graves disease) causing lid lag, myasthenia gravis. If you have any other symptoms, should have it evaluated by ophthalmologist.
Heavy lids: The most common offenders are in the category of cold remedies and antiallergics called antihistaminics. A grat variety of them cause somnolence (sleepiness). Although there are many other medications like tranquilizers, anxiolitics (anti-anxiety), that simply depress the central nervous system and induce sleep. Thus resulting in "heavy lids". Aging of the skin too which may require lid tuck sgy.
Tears for what?: Artificial tears are to supplement natural tears when they are deficient. The tears should make the eyes feel better after use. If your eyes feel blurry and heavy, then perhaps they are the wrong thing to use. For what did you think artificial tears were for?See 1 more doctor answer
Heavy eyelids and feeling extremely light-headed. What can I do and what causes this? Advice much appreciated
Eyelids feel heavy and eyesight got blurry after using a lot of artificial tears. .. How can I cure it? I'm desperate for it to go away
See eye doctor: Beware of the fact that if you use tear preparation containing a preservative more than 4 x daily, you are likely to end up with corneal edema (blurred vision) because of the irritation. If you are using multidose drops, try the single-use kind and see if this helps. If this doesn't, check with your eye doctor (not optometrist).
Consult PCP/ER: Burning and stinging sensation in eyelids can be something serious; call your pcp or go to the emergency room if your symptoms are very severe.
See clinician: If this condition is lasting greater than several days, have your clinician take a look.
Had 15 units Botox put in between brows 1 wk ago. Rt eyelid/brow feels heavier & seems slightly droopy now. Can anything be done to correct this?
Time: It is common due to the biology of the tissues for some Botox to diffuse a little more (sometimes less) in areas where the effect is not wanted. There is no way to reverse this but Botox naturally loses its effectiveness in these areas over several days to weeks. Your droopiness will disappear without help.
What can I do to get rid of heavy eyelids? Every time I go on the Internet, my eyelid hurt and it heavy. I didn't have hooded eyelid when I was young.
Surgery: Over the years, gravity and your heredity work to cause eyelid droop and excess skin. There is no medication or eyedrops that will correct this. But the excess can be very satisfactorily removed with an outpatient surgery under local. See your ophthalmologist for advice for this.
Allergies infection: Patients with severe allergies get inflammation on the eyelids. This is a skin inflammation called atopic dermatitis. Try switching to hypoallergenic soap and consider an allergy pill like loratidine. This could also be an eyelid infection called angular blepharitis. Topical antibiotic are used in this case. If it does not go away or gets worse, go to your doctor.
Left upper eyelid is heavy n sore. Started with twitching n now is paining. Have mild sore throat as well. Are they related? What's the actual reason?

Fluid changes: The tissues around the eyelids swell very easily. Exercise increases blood flow to the face and causes you to strain. This could result in some swelling of the eyelids.
