Eyelashes Falling Out (Overview)

Madaurosis or loss of eyelashes is most commonly the result of a staph infection of the eyelid margin called blepharitis. Treatment with warm compresses twice a day and scrubbing the eyelashes with the eyes closed when you shower with Johnson's "no tears" baby shampoo or Sterilid foam and then rinsing well could help. If after a month you are not seeing improvement - see an ophthalmologist.
