Eyebrow Tenderness Symptoms
Head hit into another persons head on eyebrow bone 4 days ago. Dr said exam ok, just sore/headache- only symptoms. When should mild headache subside?
Concussion: Well, a mild concussion (as yours sounds to be) can take a week or more for all of the symptoms to subside. It can last much less, or a little after, but most of my patients have resolution by a week. Just remember to have some brain rest, and no vigorous exercise for a few days, and you should be fine. Good luck! ...Read more

2 year old daughter is fine in day but for the past 3 nights has had a temp & complained of sore head. Temp normal in day. No other symptoms at all.
Needs an examination: It's alway a good idea to have a young child of 2 years old evaluated for a fever even though she's ok during the day. While it's likely to be a temporary viral source of fever, 2 year olds are prone to ear infections (otitis media) and urinary tract infections....especially if the fever is 39C (102.2F) or greater rectally. ...Read more

Seems OK: Most important prognostic factor after head trauma is Loss of Consciousness. You only report head soreness not loss of consciousness. Other findings might be severe unrelenting headache, severe vomiting, ataxic gait (walking like drunk), seizure, fluctuating levels of consciousness. You don't report any of this so I wouldn't worry. ...Read more

1mm x 4mm painless "sore" just below the head of my penis no other symptoms. A chancre? But I haven't had sex in the last 8months. What could it be?
Tricky not seeing it:

My external occipital protoreal bone back of my head is lil swollen and sore could it be caused by wisdom tooth coming in no other symptoms healthy 31?
Highly Unlikely: That sounds highly unlikely. But, there's one sure way to find out...Just have your wisdom teeth removed (which you probably should have done anyway), and see what happens to your swelling. If the swelling persists, it's obviously not related. In any case, any swelling which lasts longer than a few days should be checked anyway, so have that lump looked at regardless of your wisdom teeth. ...Read more

Sore throat, no other symptoms besides pressure in my head after I wake up. What are usually the "worst" days of a cold?
Days 2, 3, 4: Headache and throat symptoms can be from flu/cold viruses, strep throat, allergies, etc., except that allergies usually don't cause a fever. Doctors have rapid 5-minute tests for strep, so a primary care doctor can diagnose strep and start antibiotics "right away", which means within the first 3 days of a strep throat infection. Doctors also have a 15-minute test for Flu A and Flu B. ...Read more
