Second opinion: I suggest if you are still unsure you obtain a second opinion from a corneal specialist at a large academic institution. There are many available in georgia. Without know complete history of the infection, type of scarring, etc it is difficult to say for sure. The local docs may be right. The specialists may agree, but they would have the latest up-to-date answers for you, to put your mind at rest. ...Read more
