Eye Pain In Ms
Your : Your pain may be related to active sinus disease. In the case of acute sinusitis, you may have pain in the sinuses that surround the eye. This can cause pain and ache and is often related to viral or bacterial infection. Most often this will clear on its own, but many physicians will treat with antibiotics. I suppose pollen exposure could make symptoms worse if one has ongoing sinusitis and underlying allergies. If things do not improve soon, i would suggest evaluation by your medical doctor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Floaters, blurred vision, headaches and tenderness in temple around left eye - blind in right eye from birth. Eye tests ok - any ideas as to causes?
Check sed rate: You are a bit young for this but I'd check an ESR ( sedimentation rate). If elevated consider temporal arteritis. Typically the temporal artery is nodular and tender. The diagnosis is confirmed with a biopsy of a small slice of the artery. One can see scalp tenderness with migraine but it does not typically present in the 5 the decade. See a doctor right away if you think it may be TA ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Rare: Most migraines with an effect on the visual system usually cause the same phenomenon visually in each eye (cover one then the other to detect this). A very rare spasm of vessels in one eye only causes unilateral migraine but this is rare. Test your migraine if you have another and you can find the source which is probably the occipital lobe in the brain. ...Read more
Flashing light in right eye with blurred vision mainly on periphery pain in eye . Missing period and sickness negative test?
Son is experiencing blurred vision in r eye along with numbness in both arms and legs. Has bulging discs but docs say no reason for blurred vision.
Needs exam today: It would be a good idea for your son to be seen by an ophthalmologist or a neurologist as soon as possible. If you cannot make an appointment for today, i would consider taking him to an emergency room. The reason for the bulging disc s needs to be found, and sometimes it is urgent to find the cause right away . Is your son a little overweight? In any case, i would regard this as an urgent mat. ...Read more

Couple thots: You could possibly be suffering more than one problem. Head and eye consistent with a migraine syndrome, and numbness does occur transiently in classical migraine auras. Nerves in left arm leg shoulder neck left side only numb and tingling no pain though MRI was clear decline in eyesight could this be MS or what else?
Neurologist : The symptoms you describe are noteworthy. A negative MRI does not mean you do not have MS. It may be too early to be seen with MRI . Also special MRI sequences are needed to look at the optic nerves. I would seek out a neurologist to help diagnose these symptoms. Best wishes ...Read more

Migraine; maybe more: With your history of migraine headache that includes left eye symptoms it makes sense for migraine to be a reasonable cause for your vision complaint. i have symptoms of peripheral vasular disease, pain in right calf and foot goes numb whenever pain is there. pls advise, as no neuro docs in our city?
Sciatic nerve irritation.: You are probably a little young to have vascular disease. Much more likely you have some lumbar disc disease with pinching. When you pinch the nerve you may get numbness, weakness, pain or loss of proprioception. That means your foot doesn't feel quite right when you put it down. Try some low back exercises. You can find lots of low back exercise if you Google. I think you'll also find those on YouTube. If you are overweight, it will also benefit you to lose weight. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
