Sometime I have a sharp one eye pain when I open my eyesin the middle of the night for something. It follows up with wet eyes gets fine in the morning?

Yes, : Smoking can irritate the surface of the eyes and also cause the tear film to evaporate causing a state of dry eye. When the eyes dry out, the corneal surface can break down causing pain. So give up smoking, use artificial tears, and buy a humidifier and this may alleviate some of the pain. Headache type: You mention symptoms suggestive of tension headache. Radiating toward the eyes suggests the potential of a migraine. I find sinus headache needs to be considered. Have seen patients who don't have runny nose or overt symptoms but frontal headaches who have sinus infection seen clearly on scan. Cold, allergies possible?
