Not normal or ideal: Ideally if it were up to me no one would have headaches or eye pain. There are many causes that are possible, although in your case eye strain first springs to mind. Therefore, you should see an eye doctor also called an Opthamologist and also see a Neurologist for a thorough evaluation and examination which will likely include a MRI,for further evaluation of the headaches. New Condition?: I see that you suffer from HYPERthyroidism and have a history of headaches. Either one of those problems are GREAT reasons to suffer eye pains. Other causes would include problems within the eye itself having to do either with retinal pathologies or sudden pressure changes in the eye such as acute glaucoma.
