It is possible: The classic presentation of a long head of biceps tear @ the shoulder is feeling a pop in the front of the shoulder, followed by some swelling and bruising. The biceps tends to bunch up down by the elbow (Popeye deformity). I have had patients who have a torn biceps but never experienced the classic presentation described above, so it is possible for you to have a fully torn biceps without this. ...Read more
